Trail Description:

The CASO trail is located on the former Canadian Southern Rail Line corridor. Entegrus is the main donor for the trail development while the Trans Canada Trail contributes annual grant funding to maintain and construct the trail portions that are within the Trans Canada Trail Route; which helps the development of this Rail Trail.

Phase 1: Erie St North to Kent Bridge Road- Completed, white section on map
Phase 2: Erie St. North to Victoria Road- Completed, orange section on map
Phase 3: Kent Bridge Road to Mull Road- Completed, orange section on map
Phase 4: Mull Road to Communication Road- anticipated to start 2022, pink section on map
Phase 5: Victoria Road- west towards McPherson Road- anticipated to start 2022/2023, pink section on map

A portable washroom will be made available to users from April 1st- October 30th. The washroom is available at the entrance Erie St. North Parking Lot and Kent Bridge Road Trail Entrance. Should the washroom become vandalized it may be removed.

Parking can be located in front of each access gate or at the large parking lot across from South West Ag on Erie St. North
